something there
that center always
shadowed shadow
even splayed
the edges edging
in throughout but
past descripted
hold and flux
the lead while
i here lag a step
or two the toe
dragged caught
as impulse tickles
impulsed better
yet a droplet
tracing wing
the twig that
ancient green
sunfed machine
you might call
blue or dreamed
that thing that
linger spread
that rhizomatic
pull unzipped
strict harmonies
to slap the sounds’
palms songing
textured belt breath
ought to find more
room to say
this way it hits
the eye turns
musicked ear
yes reads itself
encore before first
clef now come on
now encore encore

fractal-edged
infiniting
series flush
w/ rebounds
asequential
reflection description
though does not a
conversation make
could you close
your eyes and still
the shifting see
ripples i imagine
you surrounded
every swivel new
harvest from old
counter-top stores
the charge of
reciprocal finding
when you know
that but not why
it fits with some
other i wish i
could watch and yet
i can in this
feathered lens
slipping frame
to frame the edges
blaze that backdrop
living proof in
20lb pulped flesh
of empty’s strength
to scaffold each
new bit of bridge
stretching past
here toward

two alphabets
a year of weeks
speeding toward
each tail-lit
overlap a moth’s
mouthparts taste
through touch // a
touch all it takes
sometimes to
throw wind through
my sails // and
even a skull
smiles at the
camera // my mom’s
dad’s telephoned
voice a quiver
and the color’s
drained from the
transmission //
tell her i asked
about her he
says before
the line cuts
and we look
across // the table
a triangle of eyes
wondering how
near the edge
how new the
end we hope not
now not now
please // but
with gold against
black the moon
a soft thread
rippled tangle
make a dress like
that and you’re
dance // i’m just
sayin’
