Nina Forman lives in Los Angeles where she explores narratives of her past and present through paintings, drawings, and collages. She describes making art as a time consuming puzzle, laying out pieces and parts to be resolved and blended together for a cohesive image and feeling. Using a blend of acrylic, oil, string, bubble wrap, and whatever else she comes across, Nina contemplates the presence of her paintings in a way that observes what emotions it evokes, as her practice is a medium for her own misunderstood and hazy feelings.

Cassandra Bristow is a writer, self publisher, and curator in Brooklyn. She thrives when working with magazines, reading screenplays, and writing personal essays. She is also the editor, publisher, and distributor of Oral Rinse, a serialized submission based zine. She recently completed her first manuscript in which she breaks down feminity in relation to Fairy Tales and escapism.
